For the defense sector

Your data sovereignty is no longer a policy statement. It's aprocurement requirement.

SecureSafe gives defense organizations full sovereign control over credentials and sensitive files – hosted in Switzerland, under European jurisdiction, with zero third-party access.

The challenge

Gaps that turn into procurement liabilities

Defense organizations face a specific and growing tension: the need to collaborate securely across contractors, partners, and suppliers, while maintaining verifiable sovereign control over every credential and file that contains sensitive data. Most tools in use today weren't designed to do both.

Your cloud provider may have more access than you think

Many defense organizations still rely on US-based cloud services for credential and file management. Under the U.S. CLOUD Act, this data can be subject to foreign government access, regardless of where it's physically stored. For defense procurement, that's not a theoretical risk. It's structural liability.

Credentials and file access are the real attack surface

Most defense breaches don't start with a sophisticated attack: they start with a compromised credential or a misconfigured access right. Across hybrid infrastructures with multiple contractors and suppliers, uncontrolled password and file sharing creates exactly the exposure that threat actors and auditors look for.

NIS2 enforcement is here – and auditors are checking

NIS2 is no longer upcoming; enforcement has started. For defense contractors and semi-state organizations, this means documented access controls, verifiable data handling, and demonstrable incident response capabilities. "We plan to fix this later" is no longer an acceptable answer to an auditor.

Built to meet defense standards

Sovereign control starts with credentials and files

Most sovereignty failures in defense start with uncontrolled access to credentials or sensitive files. As a modular solution, SecureSafe addresses both – on the same Swiss-hosted infrastructure, with the same zero-knowledge architecture, and without adding operational complexity.

Pass

Manage credentials across departments with zero third-party access

Give your team the freedom to focus on what they do best, not on password resets and access requests. With SecureSafe, you manage access data centrally, and maintain complete activity logs for regulatory reviews, without any credential ever leaving your control.

  • Claims team credential management
  • Compliance team shared vaults
  • Third-party vendor access control

Files

One secure place for the files your organization can't afford toexpose

Store classified project files, operational documents, and sensitive partner data in encrypted, permission-controlled safes – under full European jurisdiction, accessible only to authorized personnel, and invisible to everyone else, including us.

  • Classified project file storage
  • Secure partner and supplier document management
  • Sovereign alternative to US-based cloud storage

"Companies need clear guidelines, a vision and mission in order to make targeted progress in the area of sustainability. Ultimately, however, it is the people behind the efforts that really make the difference – their day-to-day contributions make sustainable change possible."

FAQs

Find answers to your most important questions explained here.

How does SecureSafe address U.S. CLOUD Act exposure?

The U.S. CLOUD Act allows US authorities to compel US-based cloud providers to hand over data stored anywhere in the world, including data nominally stored in European data centers. SecureSafe eliminates this exposure entirely: we are not a US-based provider, we operate no US infrastructure, and we are not subject to US jurisdiction. Your data has no CLOUD Act surface.

How does SecureSafe support NIS2 compliance?

NIS2 requires defense contractors and semi-state organizations to demonstrate documented access controls, verifiable data handling, and incident response capabilities. SecureSafe supports these requirements through ISO 27001 certification, complete audit trails across Pass and File, and Swiss-hosted infrastructure under European jurisdiction. Compliance documentation is available for your NIS2 vendor assessment process.

Is SecureSafe ISO 27001-certified?

Yes. SecureSafe is ISO 27001-certified, which means our information security management system has been independently audited against international standards. Certification documentation is available on request for procurement and vendor assessment processes.

How does access control work across contractors and external partners?

Pass gives IT operations full visibility and control over who has access to what, across every team and partner relationship. Access rights are defined centrally, enforced consistently, and logged completely. Revoking access when a contractor leaves takes seconds, and the activity trail of everything they accessed remains intact.

Where is our data hosted, and who can access it?

All data is hosted exclusively in Switzerland, on infrastructure owned and operated by SecureSafe. Swiss data protection law applies. No data is routed through or stored in EU or US jurisdictions. Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, SecureSafe has no technical ability to access your data; access is controlled entirely by your organisation.
